Tanicia Burns

Program Coordinator, Science Club

Tanicia Burns earned her bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology, Cognition & Neuroscience and Spanish at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor). She continued her studies at Northwestern University earning a MS in Regulatory Compliance-Clinical Research Track. She’s worked as a mentor and tutor for elementary, middle school, and undergraduate students for numerous of years.

Tanicia is the Science Club Program Coordinator at the Pedersen-McCormick Boys & Girls Club of Chicago. She is passionate about working with youth, diversity & inclusion, building community, cultural awareness, and social justice. 

She’s also an active and proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Tanicia’s long term plans include making health and science accessible to populations that are underserved. 

For fun, Tanicia enjoys traveling, working with youth, finding great gluten-free foods, and spending time with family and friends.”
