
This day-long series of expert lectures will cover topics ranging from the potential health impacts of climate change to a plan to "decarbonize" central Chicago. The list of distinguished speakers includes Evanston's Sustainable Programs Coordinator Catherine Hurley, the Northwestern Dept. of Earth & Planetary Sciences' very own Matthew Hurtgen, and keynote Dr. Richard Alley, renowned glaciologist and host of the PBS series "Earth: The Operators' Manual."
