Take part in science education & outreach opportunities!

August 17, 2016

Graduate students and post docs (and even faculty and staff) can have the best intentions. We constantly meet motivated scholars looking to give back to the community but they’re not sure where to start.

Sound familiar?

If you’re interested in developing your science communication, teaching, leadership, or mentorship skills, stop by one of our drop-in info sessions to hear about projects with which you can get involved.

Programs take place in both Evanston and Chicago and time commitments can vary so we’ll help you think about opportunities which fit your interests and level of commitment.

Both days our enthusiastic team will be talking with researchers about science education, outreach and communication opportunities – and supplying breakfast bagels & coffee.

Even if you’re not sure you can commit to a new endeavor this fall, you can sign-up for our monthly listserv to find out about STEM education and volunteer opportunities throughout the academic year.

Grab a bagel! Bring a friend! Stop by & say hello!
