Evanston Arts Center

People of all ages and levels of arts experience come to our Art Center to engage in self discovery through classes, exhibitions, lectures, family programs, and special events. The atmosphere is friendly, yet serious learning is underway in classrooms, studios, and galleries. Everyone is encouraged to refine their art making techniques and become part of a close knit arts community.

The level of art instruction is exceptionally high thanks to a faculty with advanced degrees from the finest art schools in the country and the world, such as Cranbrook Academy of Art, Kansas City Art Institute, School of The Art Institute of Chicago and Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris.

Our exhibition program is highly regarded, showcasing works of emerging and established contemporary artists and curators from around the region and internationally.

Our youth program teaches children from pre school to high school ages how to make, think about, and critique arts in multiple disciplines.

Our community partnerships have grown exponentially in the last few years. You'll find Art Center organized activities in many after-school programs, hospitals, and community centers. Science in Society's annual Scientific Images Contest has exhibited at Art Center.
