Daniel Meyer comes to Science in Society with a strong background in preservice and inservice teacher education. A central thread through much of his work has been making science learning better reflect how science is practiced. He is particularly interested in providing teachers the knowledge, skills and resources to make that a reality.
Dan earned his BA in Physics with concentrations in Public Policy and Peace & Conflict Studies from Swarthmore College, his Ed.M. and teacher certification from Harvard University and his Ph.D. from Cornell University.
