Rebecca Daugherty

Assistant Director

Rebecca Daugherty began working with Science Club during the Spring of 2008 as a Northwestern University graduate student volunteer. After graduating with her PhD in Cell Biology from the Integrated Graduate Program in Life Sciences (now called the Driskill Graduate Program in Life Sciences) in 2010, Rebecca pursued a postdoctoral position in science education and public engagement with Science in Society. Based on her oustanding work, she was appointed to the position of SiS Assistant Director in June 2012.

Rebecca currently leads and supports several SiS programs: Science Explorers, Science Club Summer Camp, and our partnerships in Evanston, IL.

When Rebecca is not having science-y fun, she is running around with her two boys or digging in her garden.
