Sarina McBride

Business Coordinator

Sarina McBride has held a variety of roles in both academia and industry. After a degree in chemistry from the University of Oregon, she worked at the lab bench at the University of Pennsylvania.  She then moved to industry taking positions in sales & marketing of biochemistry and diagnostic product lines.  With an additional degree in business from the Booth School of Business at The University of Chicago, Sarina began licensing biotechnology for the University of Chicago. She has volunteered her time in hands-on science programs in the Wilmette Public Schools, specifically their Outdoor Classrooms and the D39 Educational Foundation’s Science Olympiad. 

Sarina has experienced the value of a technical education and remains passionate about engaging students in science.
