21st Annual Cancer Survivors' Celebration Walk & 5K

The 21st Annual Cancer Survivors’ Celebration Walk & 5K is the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University’s tribute to cancer survivors and the strides being made in cancer treatment and research.

Held on Sunday, June 1 (National Cancer Survivors Day), the chip-timed 5K and non-competitive walk along Chicago’s lakefront begins in Grant Park at the corner of Columbus and Balbo Drives. The morning is filled with family-friendly activities, including a picnic, t-shirts, music, entertainment, an opportunity to sign the Dedication Wall and more. No donations required.

This community awareness event is expected to draw close to 4,000 participants—bringing cancer survivors, families and friends together with the physicians, scientists and health professionals who support them every step of the way.

Registration and details are available at cancer.northwestern.edu/walk or 312.695.1300.
