In October, our Science Club program won a $10,000 STEM Impact Award from Afterschool Alliance! To celebrate, the Pedersen-McCormick Boys & Girls Club held an open house, in conjunction with Afterschool Alliance's "Lights on Afterschool" initiative, for community members, mentors and students. Science Club was also featured on ABC 7 News Chicago, and in a Northwestern News article.
